The Medical Education & Information Association has become the Southern Tier Region's source for the latest updates and trends affecting the "business side" of medicine and healthcare. MEDIA brings together all stakeholders involved in the care and treatment of patients from an administrative support perspective, as well as, those responsible for "revenue cycle" management. MEDIA members include physician practices, hospital organizations, ancillary providers, management support organizations and third party payors/health insurance payors. MEDIA is a not for profit association organized under Section 501 (c) (6) of the Internal Revenue Code.
The
Ron
Brown Medical Arts Scholarships are awarded in
memory of one of the original founders of Medical Education &
Information Association,
MEDIA. Ron was a Practice Administrator for the
Chenango Bridge Medical Group.
Each year, MEDIA offers
scholarships
to at least four deserving individuals.
Scholarships are awarded to those individuals entering or expanding
their training
within the medical field. Nominations for
scholarships are received by Instructors and Professors of Broome
Community College;
Tompkins Community College; Ridley Lowell
Business and Technical Institute and Elmira Business Institute.
